Fus3/Kss1 Differences

• Kss1 has 56% amino acid sequence identity with Fus3. Ma et al. 1995 PMID 7579701

Interaction with Ste5

• Fus3 binds to GST-Ste5(241-336) with a Kd of 1 μM, whereas Kss1 binds to GST-Ste5(241-336) with a Kd of 6.5 μM (via cosedimentation assay). Kusari et al. 2004
